Isekai is a subgenre of fantasy that features characters that are either physically or mentally spirited away to another world. Often times these worlds are based on video games and other media. “The man who saved me on my isekai trip”
While these physical adventures are fun, the real arc of the isekai genre should revolve around the protagonist’s personal journey. It must involve introspection, overcoming flaws, learning lessons, becoming better at what they do and much more.
1. Yuji Miyamoto
If it weren’t for him, we wouldn’t have Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong, Star Fox, F-Zero and Pikmin. These iconic IPs have made Nintendo a household name and he’s a key part of its success.
A video game designer, producer and director at Nintendo, Shigeru Miyamoto is widely regarded as one of the most influential and successful designers in the history of video games. His acclaimed games have earned many critical acclaim, including Time’s designation of him as “the Spielberg of video games.”
He is the creator and mastermind behind some of Nintendo’s most popular and recognizable series, including Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Donkey Kong, Starfox, Pikmin and F-Zero. His contributions to the industry are unmatched and his innovative ideas have influenced generations of gamers.
His innovations have led to new genres of video games. For example, he designed the first controller to allow two players to play a single game together on a single console, which changed the way developers approached games forever.
As the founder of a number of renowned gaming franchises, he is credited with bringing the industry to new heights and setting a standard for innovation. He has received numerous awards for his work and is considered a living legend in the video game industry.

He believes that big risks should come with larger rewards, but he also wants to ensure that there is room for failure as well. This is a major theme in his Kirby series, and it extends to almost every game he has worked on.
In addition to these guiding principles, Sakurai has always made his games beginner friendly. This is something that he has been working on for a long time, and it has been a huge part of what has made his games such success.
Despite all of this, Sakurai still feels like he hasn’t done everything that he’s wanted to do yet. He’s currently unsure of his future in the gaming industry, but it’s safe to assume that he’ll be continuing to create games in some way. Whether that means another game in the Smash series or a sporadic gaming endeavor, we won’t know for sure until it happens.
4. Hiroki Takahashi
Hiroki Takahashi is a Japanese voice actor who has done many voice roles in anime and video games. He is known for his work on series like Hunter X Hunter, School Rumble, Japan in Hetalia, Katsuya Jonouchi/Joey Wheeler in Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters and Ryu in the Street Fighter series. He also sings image songs for anime.
He has a number of voice actors behind him including Kiku Honda (Axis Powers Hetalia), Eiji Kikumaru (Prince of Tennis), Parco Folgore (Konjiki no Gash Bell), and Harima Kenji (School Rumble). His other roles include Impmon/Beelzemmon in Digimon Tamers, Crimson Rubeus in Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Crystal, and Ryu in the Street Fighter series.
His voice acting has a reputation for being distinct, and it is one of the reasons why this show is so interesting. It tries to go against the grain of most power fantasy isekai by not trying to be just like every other anime.
Unfortunately, it also does not make any effort to really commit to any sort of story or plot point. It tries to rush through certain story beats that are not needed or earned, and it just feels like it is pushing itself to the next story point rather than actually telling a compelling story about its characters.
The show has a lot of potential, but it falls short at times and the production is very bland and unimpressive. I am sure this will get better as the series progresses, but right now it is not a great anime to watch.
So I am not one to recommend this anime unless you have a lot of time and patience and are interested in an isekai with a very different style. It is definitely worth a look though if you are looking for an original, quirky, and very funny anime that takes place in a unique and interesting world that is full of life, personality, and intrigue.
5. Hiroki Miyamoto

Unlike many other isekai shows that take place in fantasy worlds, Grimgar is set in a world that resembles medieval Europe. This is the main reason why it is considered to be a classic in this genre.
In addition to this, the isekai series also focuses on the supernatural powers of the characters, with the protagonists using their own unique powers in order to fight monsters and overcome obstacles. The isekai series is a must-watch for fans of this genre and has earned the title of one of the most popular shows of the genre.
As I said, he has a vast amount of experience in the isekai genre and is a very well-rounded person. He is also known for his strong leadership skills and his ability to handle a variety of different situations. He will be a great addition to the team at UIB.
